Gardium Security acquires the Agence Métropolitaine d’Investigation (A.M.I)) specializing in the field of shoplifting investigation and prevention.
An expanded team at Gardium adds another string to its bow in the field of investigation services, enhancing its expertise in security.
On June 29th, Gardium Security announced its acquisition of the Agence Métropolitaine d’Investigation (A.M.I), a Montreal-based firm specializing in the field of shoplifting investigation and prevention. This allows Gardium to offer a full range of security services and augment its ability to serve its clients in Quebec and across Canada.

Gardium was an idea partner for A.M.I, with the same organizational values and the same drive to meet our clients’ expectations,” said Réjean Aubé, President of A.M.I, which has more than 30 years of experience in the field of shoplifting investigation and prevention.
“With this acquisition, Gardium strengthens its position as a leader in the field of investigation services, adding a Shoplifting Prevention chapter. For A.M.I.’s customers, Gardium allows them to maintain a personalized service with Mr. Gravel and Mr. Aubé.”
In order to maintain quality service, Mr. Sylvain Gravel will remain Supervisor of Operations for Shoplifting Prevention, and Mr. Réjean Aubé will continue with his responsibilities for developing the Shoplifting Investigation and Prevention chapter.
This is Gardium’s fifth acquisition since its founding in 2002. The last acquisition was in 2017 with the Avant-Garde Group, which added 500 employees to Gardium’s team and helped it expand into the protective services industry.
